These are my two evening renders for my first 3d Project (which is due in tomorrow), I’m still trying to decide one which of the two to use because I only really need one evening and one day render each.
On another note, They look so simple, but to be honest I prefer them to be like that! Then again It’s not like Sweeny Todd’s Barbershop was filled with crap, was it…
Due to the level of emptiness in these shots, the lighting is so important - I think I’ve done a decent job of it but can’t help that i should really of researched lighting techniques a little further. Something to remember for the future :3
The start of something epic - The Barber Store from Sweeny Todd.
I wanted to do something a little more epic for my 3D project, this definatly is more epic than doing my living room at least. Not only that, there is a decent source of light and an amazing focal point - at least when it’s done.
Blogging…
(Apparently this is stage of my life I’ve missed - Time to rewind.)
Well, this is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this - It’s like a bold step into the future. One day, I’ll look back through the archives and wonder;
“What was I thinking… Ugh, Look at that!”.
Yeah, you get the point.
After the break, more thoughts.
Anyway, there is a reason why I decided to open an account on Tumblr, hopefully by using this I’ll be able to keep myself organized and help others that are in a similar situation as myself.
Who those who don’t know me;
I’m Colin Head, I’m attending the Plymouth College of Art and studying Game Design. The course implements the majority of the processes that go into making a game. Including all stages from the initial ideas to actually making the fully fleshed product.
I’m currently more interested in the 3d Modelling side of things but, I’m sure over the coming years my views are going to change.
It’s 1am right now - I’ll come back to this another day!
Colin.
